Moon Kingdom Blues
Chapter 1: The Missing Senshi
Created Under Alias: Sailor Galaxy

This fic can be found at Galaxy's Domain
Moon Kingdom Blues has beed slightly edited from its original state.

Disclaimers- Sailor Moon belongs to Takeuchi Naoko-san, and not me at all! Also, to Toei animation, and though I hate to admit, the English version to Clover Wave and Dic. However, the original characters featured belong entirely to me, and the plot line is mine as well! If I catch any "thieves", youll have to face my wrath!

This is a story based on the senshis past lives, but with a bonus. Its main focus is the past of my original sailor senshi. Im trying to use Japanese names here, even the ones I made for my senshi! Enjoy~!

(Note: You may want to know your Japanese before reading this, itll make more sense, trust me.)

Characters (Last names first, mind you!)
Bino Kodomo
Yamabikono Shizuka
Heiwano Kokoro
Meiou Setsuna

Kodomo sighed, looking around her as she walked down a long corridor. She wore a flowing cerulean gown that only a princess was entitled to. Her long lavender hair was in its usual long pigtails. Blue eyes watched the marble floor tiles she walked on. They saw a pair of feet.

Kodomo stopped walking and looked up to see who was there. "OhPluto-hime"

Setsuna looked at the young princess. "Kodomo-kun, you have been acting sulkily latelyAre you feeling well?"

"Yes, Pluto-sensei. Im only a bit disappointedThe Millennium Ball is in a couple weeksIt does happen only once a year, but this is the first time its caught my interest."

Kodomo, as well as two other young women, during the Silver Millennium, had gone to planet Pluto to be educated by the very wisest ruler in the galaxy, Princess Pluto. Theyd all gone for a different reason each. Setsuna was their teacher at her large boarding school built onto her palace. It was a huge honor to attend the school, and only few people graduated. It was the best school anywhere to have a future queen receive education.

"I see that youre anxious, child. However, I doubt you can attend, as you have so much to do in the rest of the yearIts only November"

"Yes, but Pluto-sama, the Ball is on December 7th; thats less than two weeks away!"

Setsuna shook her head. "Kodomoyoull have the chance another time, perhaps. As for now, please, watch your studies and enjoy yourself here with your friends."

She walked past Kodomo, who was left in the hallway, disappointed, but not depressed. "Oh well," she thought, "I guess I can go on with my life. Theres always next year" She was fifteen now, and what if next year she had to do something even more complicated? With each passing year her life became busier. She left it how it was and headed to her bedroom.

The girls werent just given a dorm room, but each had their own bedroom, all linked. Between each, there was a bathroom, and each bathroom had two doors that led to the next room. They could be locked, of course.

Kodomo knew that Kokoro was always a cheery girl, so she knocked on one of her large oak doors outside of her room.

"Yes?"

"Koko-chan, its me~!"

"Aa! Kodomo!" She opened the door. Since it was around 17:00, they were all done with learning that day, but hadnt yet changed into casual yukatas. Kokoro wore a silky dress similar to Kodomos, only hers was a vibrant purple shade. "We arent going to the Ball are we? Or have you asked Sensei?"

"I asked. She said, "No, you need to work on school. Maybe next time.""

"Oh Kodomo, dont be discouraged! There is next year, like she said. Lets get Shizuka and go outside for a while, okei? Im sure youll feel better after that!" Kokoros violet eyes smiled.

So down two doors they went. Kokoro knocked on the door with a smile on her face. "Shizuka-chanOpen your door! Its Kokoro!"

There was no answer, and her door was locked. "Hm. Koko-chan, lets go on out. I dont think Shizuka-chan would be the type to enjoy a garden walk, anyway"

Outside they went. Looking into the sky, the girls could see the planet Uranus not far away. The thin atmosphere allowed a sky that was usually the black color of space, but illuminated by the stars. Kokoro and Kodomo walked down a beautiful pink-tiled path in the palace garden. Here and there, attendants bustled, caring for plants, carrying out orders of the princess, or just running work from building to building. Then they saw her.

Shizuka was knelt on a bench in the gazebo not far from them. She was starring out into the sky, deep in thought. All that was visible of her was her long, silky, black dress that draped to the ground as well as a ponytail of raven-colored hair that fell to her waist.

Since it was unusual for this girl to be daydreaming, the other two were curious. They crept into the gazebo and just sat in silence.

After a time, Shizuka spoke, startling them. "I was just wondering how my people are doing Thats all. It seems you are curious." She turned and sat on the bench, her dark brown eyes examining them. "Its been a long time, after all. Seven years away from NimissI miss it"

They all sat in reverence for a time. Suddenly, and attendant hurried up the path too them.

"Bino-san, there is a letter for you. It was dropped off in your room, but Pluto-sama instructed me to make you aware."

"Okei, thank you!" This was just the thing to cheer her up! Even though Kodomos mail was usually letters from royalty across the galaxy, she recived mail on few occasions. She got up and rushed away to the boarding building, her two friends close behind.

When they reached Kodomos room, she took the letter that had been placed neatly on the bed. It was a silver envelope with blue writing on it, addressed to "Bino Kodomo-hime".

She gently opened the envelope, and read the letter to herself. She started laughing happily, then set it down for the others to read.

Kodomo-chan,

I personally invite you to attend the Millennium Ball to be held at the Moon Kingdom Palace. The Ball is held in order to commemorate the lush harvests, wonderful fortune, and long-lasting peace in this kingdom as well as the galaxy. Please tell Koko-chan and Shizu-chan that they are also very welcome to join you. Pluto-hime knows of this invitation, and will be present herself. I greatly hope you can make it.

Sincerely,

Queen Serenity
Moon Kingdom

Kokoro joined in the cheering with Kodomo. They leapt up and down like giddy little children, then noticed Shizukus questioning look and stopped. Something seemed to be bothering her.

"Shizuka-chan," Kodomo began, "what is it?"

"Kodomo, it seems this letter is from Queen Serenity herself."

"Yes, it is"

Kokoro gasped. "Thats right! Wow, it is! Why would she send you a personal invitation?!"

"Thats what I was going for," Shizuka responded. "It seems pretty casual and forward for the queen. We should consult Pluto-hime."

Kodomo and Kokoro nodded, and they began down the hall with the letter.
